Salamanca to Santiago

the itinerary

8 nights
  • arrive into Salamanca, Spain
  • experience a lesser known route, the Camino Sanabres
  • depart from Santiago de Compostela

day 1
  • meet in Salamanca by 4pm local time
  • welcome meeting
  • walking tour of Old Town with local guide followed by a special welcome dinner
  • overnight in Salamanca

day 2
  • warm up walk of 10 km to get us in the ‘mood’ en route to Ourense
  • group dinner and special presentation
  • overnight in Ourense

day 3
  • the beginning of our 108km journey to Santiago
  • we’ll walk out of the ancient city of Ourense, over the river and UP and over the pass and into the countryside beyond
  • today’s camino will be almost 20km
  • tonight we check into our home for the next five nights (aka Camino HQ)

day 4
  • take in another 20km stretch of the camino before heading back to HQ

days 5 & 6
  • continue our camino through the gorgeous landscape of Galicia before heading back to HQ each day

day 7
  • we’ll cover some serious ground as we prepare mind, body and soul for the culmiation of our pilgrimage. Tomorrow we arrive in Santiago

day 8
  • our glorious entrance walking into the magical city of Santiago de Compostela
  • overnight in Santiago
  • enjoy the history, people and energy of this historical city with our local guide
  • celebrate with a farewell dinner

day 9
  • departures, hugs & high fives

  • 2,995 euros per person (double occupancy)

additional details
  • reservation deposit of 300 euros required to hold your spot
  • the deposit can be transfered to another Toma and Coe trip should there be a cancellation due to government mandated travel restrictions. If you choose to cancel, the deposit is forfeited
  • remaining amount due 8 weeks prior to departure
  • payment via credit card only & collected via phone or WhatsApp

  • consider giving yourself an extra day in the local time zone
